We talk about courses and workshops and books that encourage us, guide us toward having experiences that transform, but what does this really mean? How do we know if we are truly having a transformative experience-how does it feel? I can only describe it as a life-changing moment of clarity, of expansion, unbounded love; and there’s no way back to where we came from-only forward. Its like seeing something that changes your worldview forever; like a remote native people seeing a man get into a plane and fly away into the sky for the first time- This is a transformational moment-their worldview, their interior center of self has shifted to include the fact that humans can really fly. In our modern world, perhaps beginning to meditate and having an out of body experience for the first time; like watching yourself as an observer while in the deep state of relaxation. This is a transformational moment. So what- So this is the place where you begin to expand your consciousness and belief system. This is where you get a firsthand experiential awareness of how powerful we are and how connected we are to the whole of our universe. Its the awareness of our potential as multi-sensory beings. It is a glimpse into our personal awakening as part of the conscious evolution of our species. It is the moment we know we can never be the person we were yesterday. • Engage in a mindful activity – Listen to something soothing – Music has a powerful effect on our mood and psyche, with recent medical research showing that our heart rate rises and falls in sync with the rhythm of our soundtrack.
• Exercise before you try to relax – Yoga or Pilates or even just a walk around the block. Expending physical energy makes it easier to clear your head, and you’ll feel more fit as well.
• Don’t over-schedule yourself – This sounds like a no brainer, but who hasn’t felt guilty about turning down an invitation from a friend even when the week is already stuffed with work and family commitments? Clear at least a couple of days a month to do nothing so that you have time to unwind and can be open to doing something spontaneous.
• Make time for what matters – Trimming the fat from your schedule should leave you with more time for the things you care about most. If you’re still feeling too busy, prioritize by finding time in the early morning or evening-even 15 minutes to cuddle with your partner or your pet. – take time to revive a hobby or volunteer.
• Focus on something good that is happening right now in your life-as easy as making a great meal or watching something uplifting on TV-how grateful you are to have a supportive family, friends, co-workers. Buying a new outfit, finishing a project, writing in your journal, singing in your car-shower-at a jam session. Its about the act of noticing as you are in the moment of the action itself.

And it relieves the stress and isolation we feel as a result of our current worldview.

The practice of being a “Goddess-Biker” persona is the basis for connecting to community and creating a true mutuality-a more intimate culture. I like to use the grounded metaphor of “the Biker” entwined with the ethereal presence of “the Goddess”. This union makes enlightenment more accessible to everyone and it aligns our natural purpose of safety, prosperity, love and freedom.
